Addt'l, How will the waiter knows if you're already done eating? spoon/fork/knife, yes, both utensils should be placed on the same side with proper position at either 3o'clock or 5 o'clock.

wahehe.. just to share some experience sa isang hotel... that time, I was attending a national congress, then lunch nung mga oras na yun,, after I finished eating the main course, I was then eating a slice of pizza without knowing that the waiter pulled out my plate (for bussing). I don't know were to put the pizza that time (wahha) ayun, I dunk it in the wine glass (pero patago ko un ginawa, Ayoko kasi mapahiya yung waiter).. After that session, I approach the floor supervisor ... and I calmly elaborate and give suggestions to him so that he will be able to give prior reminders to his staff and to avoid what had happen again. Kaya kayo, even if you know some of the table manners, it doesnt give you the authority to shame anybody. You can keep it to yourself and may have it complained on a right time, place and person. =)
