Girls' Generation is a South Korean nine-member girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2007.
Its members include (in order of official announcement) Yoona, Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung,
Seohyun, Taeyeon, Jessica, and Sunny. They are commonly referred to as SNSD, the acronym of the
group's Korean name So Nyuh Shi Dae or So Nyeo Shi Dae.

Pre-debut:

The members were professionally trained primarily in singing and dancing while a select few were also
trained in acting and modeling. Many of the members had already made appearances in magazine ads,
television commercials, and small television appearances. For nearly two years, Korean websites speculated
about which female SM Entertainment trainees would be placed into the group. It was speculated to be
called Super Girls after their counterpart Super Junior.

2010: Second Album

During their first Asian concert, the girls performed a new song called "Show,Show,Show".
In early January 2010, SM Entertainment confirmed that the group will be back in February
2010 with their second full-length album. Also, the girls confirmed that they will be
holding their encore concert which will be held on Febuary 27 and 28. The tickets will
be on sale from Febuary 21.

I'll personally share my side of story..

At first, nagbbrowse ako ng mga vids sa Youtube tapos hindi ko sinasadyang
maclick yung isang vid, pinanood ko ng konte tapos natandaan ko yung shirts nila
na may number tapos may pangalan which is yung Girls' Generation MV, nacurious
ako kung anong group yun since ang gulo ng title. Bali Girls' Generation - Girls' Generation.
Naalala ko binookmark ko pa yun just incase. Kapag wala akong magawa, nagssurf
ako ng vids over the net, tapos chinecheck ko rin sila once in awhile, pero tumigil yun
dahil may pasok nga ako, sobrang tight yung sched ko kaya sobrang dalang lang makagamit
ng PC/laptop. Then nung sumikat na nga yung Wonder Girls dito sa Pinas, yung friend
ng bro ko may rinecommend na girl group sa kanya then rinecommend niya sakin, sabi
daw madami daw sila tapos ang gaganda. Hehe, edi chineck ko agad, ( nung time kase
na yun mejo maluwag nako kung ikukumpara mo noon ) nagulat ako dahil yung rinecommend
nila sakin nakita ko na noon, tapos yung MV na pinapanood nila sakin was Gee. Then yun,
doon na ulit natuloy yung pagiging active ko sa kanila. Dati mejo hindi nako active sa forums
noon dahil nga busy sa schooling. Then nung mejo maluwag na yung oras ko sumisilip
parin ako sa forum kaso madalang nalang magpost dahil nawala na yung mga madalas
kong kausap noon. Sina Krams busy rin nun dahil mod na siya nun and yung iba biglang
nawala nalang. Kaya mejo tinamad nako. Lol


Isang araw, wala akong magawa dahil wala akong pasok nun that day, naalala ko umuulan
pa nga nun tapos nagdecide ako na gumawa ng thread sa Video Sharing section. Nagpost
ako ng SNSD vids doon, mga 2 vids yata yun, Gee pati Sowoneul Malhaebwa. Yung mga unang
nagpost mga seniors (idol Zieg, idol Waramat) haha. Then nakita ko si Master Mart, tapos sunod
sunod na, yung mga SNSDs, idol War, Krams etc.
